A well run and ecologically sound organic farm is after all just more "stuff."

Once you get beyond food for yourself.

I used to compete for grades, jobs, and, unsuccessfully, most of the time, ladies. Now I compete with electrons in computer games and with neocons on SI :>)

Farming, for all they say about being in harmony with nature, is also competition with the ol' bitch. She always wins.
