Personally, I thought ROME was the finest Series I have ever seen and among the finest things HBO has ever produced. I can hardly wait till the next season.
It made me wonder how much greater Rome might have become if Caesar had not been assassinated. While he became a dictator in a Republic, it appeared to me that he was a "good" dictator trying to right the wrongs that Rome had degenerated into? jdn
