You are completely delusional, all companies pay PR firms to promote them in order to compete with all the noise of communications in the marketplace. Especially, small companies fighting for startup and developmental capital. Yes they pay these people, but the catch is, they don`t have any money, so they give them shares in the company to promote them. and you have to have a relationship with someone in order for them to take possible future revenue instead of upfront cash. Look at it this way, the companies believe enough in the company to accept stock in leu of cash up front. They have to believe that these shares will have value in the future. Heck our own govt. pays IRAQ press for favorable stories about their cause! Did you know that 90% of what you see on tv news is pr generated stories by people with money and a given agenda to push! It amazed me that Congressional votes are swayed as a result of tons of money paid to lobbying/pr firms to manipulate the framing of a cause! You have to compete in the marketplace for scarce capital. Ergo, you need to get your story out! I like your research, but I actually called the developer in SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA and asked about whether he had ever heard of this company, and sure enough he discussed the company, the 2 contracts, and the different services they were providing for his high priced condos! This is a company that has struggled, but what startup doesn`t, MSFT didn`t even have an operating system when they made a deal with IBM, and that worked out ok!This is not even remotely close to the same company or personnel who once were into the health products industry, those people have been gone for 3 years. They have slowly transformed themselves into a telecom company that provides unique services for a niche market by acquiring strategic partnerships to fill in the gaps of their offering in order to bundle a desireable package for this niche consumer market of BPL Technology. Just as MSFT had certain technology, that when combined with a bought 55,000 operating system put them in business with IBM AND APPLE! Its all about strategic relationships, and yes, marketing is also a strategic relationship business. Every company does it, look at BP and their phony green pr campaign, and it works, b/c exxon mobil is thought of as a bad for the environment oil company, while BP is thought of as a green friendly company. And trust me nothing could be further from the truth, we did a case study of these two companies in my MBA program. Bottom line buy the stock while it is relatively cheap, b/c if you look at the highs and floors of the stock you keep getting higher bottoms, and higher highs!!! So short the stock and you will lose your shirt on this baby! The only play here is to go long til it becomes overbought! Which is a long ways off from the current price!!!
