Yes, definitely worth reading.

Also when you read the article you see the picture of Odom who actually LOOKS LIKE a thinking, intelligent person.

I am used to pictures of Generals revealing people who look like somewhat disciplined, politically sensitized THUGS. This guy does not look like that.

Maybe there are intelligent, strategic people in the Military.
It is pretty obvious that their political masters are THUGS. That has not been in doubt for a long time.

Anyway, Odom is a guy who does not want his former Military to be bogged down in endless guerilla wars that they will INEVITABLY lose. The maximum power of the Military is the THREAT of its use. Look at Fallujah. The military napalmed, white phosphorused the population and then just about leveled the town. Is it conquered? No way--the "insurgents" are still carrying the battle to the U.S. enemy.

And Fallujah is just one town!
