The biggest risk in marrying your investments is that should you be forced to part with them, they often take half. Let's see. Precious metals vs. oil. Seems there's a little nursery rhyme to help on that resource stock decision. Drill for yellow, kill a fellow. Drill for black, friend of Jack. The "CRASH" has been predicted for so many years that people laugh at it now. There have been many crashes predicted in recent years including the ones with books named after them "The Crash of 89" and "The Crash of '90" I talked to a guy I know who took his money out of bonds when they reached their Gulf war tops and placed it all in stocks hitting their recession bottoms at that time and. He's made a double killing and could never be brought to believe the market would ever have more than a 20% retrenchment. Ever. The guy from the Brinker show was laughing at the bears Saturday. They make the expected new highs later this year possible he says. Sure, there are lots of bears, but think about it, even bears like myself can't believe another leg up with bells and blowhorns isn't just around the corner.
