John: News on the inflation front is not market friendly, PPI is moving up for the first time in 7 months. This will show up in the CPI shortly. Consumer spending is strong evidenced by strong retail sales and housing market. TYX is moving up after hiting a low sof 6.4. The Fed would find enough excuses to raise rate by 1/4% by Nov. Remembered what happened to the market in April when the Fed raised interest rate? But with the devaluation of those SE Asian currencies, US consumers would continue to enjoy cheap imports from Asia. The bull market is not over yet despite of a 10+% correction. We were already 7% below 8300.
