Thanks scott,

That was a good read.. He is right. It is not a "pottery barn". It is a war with all it's inherent death, destruction and other tragedy. We have a tendency in our society to couch nasty stuff in Madison Avenue" type buzz words.. Sugar coated it goes down better..

Then people can think of what is going on over there as equal to a bunch of clay pots being broke and all we have to do is glue them together or replace them and everything then will be just peachy keen... Well that's NOT the case, Colin Powell can not glue people's lives back together.

Powell, etal just should ask Cindy Sheehan after he has apologized to her and every other person that has lost a loved one there.. Plus the individual Iraqi people.. They have a life time of work ahead of them to get things straight before they move on..

And do it in person..

There is a TV show about a guy that goes around righting things to all the people he wronged.. I just asked my wife, it is called "My Name is Earl". I have only seen a brief part of it.. In real life, it should be called ..

"My name is George" or Dick, or Colin, or Condi or..

(Anything but Sioux <g>)

"And I am here to apologize and to express my deepest regrets for my actions that resulted in the death of ..., I just have to get this off my chest.."
