I sure hope that's the case. I originally traded primarily techs and liked the volume and volatility. There was an interesting analysis awhile back showing that many larger companies have been holding off updating software and hardware and now can no longer afford to be using pre-2000 stuff. In other words, taking a cyclical approach to tech.
And the rapid growth of consumer economies in Asia are bound to have a major effect on tech supply and demand as well. Unhappily those fast growing economies are also going to suck up more and more of the world's oil supply. So I am bullish on oil as well.
