Bush/Cheney/Delay/Frist/Rove are the real losers. All five will now end up either in prison, impeached or forced to resign in disgrace. Even if they escape the worst punishments, their legacies are permanently polluted by their own lies, corruption, greed and errors.

Meanwhile, Kerry is not only vindicated and proven right on all the big issues, but he's standing tall as the #1 democratic leader, a voice the country respects, believes, trusts and wishes were in the White House. Whether that means he'll ever be president is not the question. But his vindication is important for our democracy. He was the one who told the truth and waged the honest campaign. He lost in 2004, but mainly due to foul play by the GOP, so he wins over the longer run.

Truly, Kerry's only mistake (as we can now plainly see) was ever taking Bush-Cheney at their word. Those who showed that kind of respect for the president after 9-11 now regret it. It's a tragedy for this country that, once again like in 1964, we have a presdient so arrogant as to perp a big fat lie to the American people and congress in order to wage a costly war against a country which never attacked us, then occupy that country without an exit plan and get stuck in the midst of a civil war.
