And so I tuned into the USC/UCLA game at the end of the first half and it was 21 to 6 with USC in the lead.. I watched through the third and part of the fourth quarter as USC poured it on with Bush and Leinert, etal still in when I turned it off...

It ended up 66-19 USC.. As a disclaimer, I am a Cal fan and so associate with any U of Cal team too, but that doesn't matter, but I was so pissed when USC ran up the score against the Bruins.

And then I was just as pissed when I seen that Texas ran up the score against Colorado, like 70-3.. I don't have any skin in that game but just the thought that a coach would allow that to happen to the other team is inexcusable imo.. And that brings me to my point..

These two games with their final scores just seems like a manifestation of the illness of our society.. Where the STRONG just FEAST on the WEAK, with no thought for the weaker's feelings and a another tomorrow...

And that carries over to the great discrepancy of wealth between our people.. Pour it on.... "Greed is Good" and all that jazz. :(

And that carries over to our society, with our military and other strengths, against weaker societies.. Pour it on.."Greed is Good".. Take what you can get, run up the score, forget about the tomorrows..

But that is wrong, so wrong, for tomorrow does come..

And the chickens DO come home to roost....

But so it goes..
