Something which went little reported was the speed of the U.S. Navy's response to the Pakistan earthquake.

I've never seen the Admirals move so quickly to locate resources and get them to the region. As most won't recall, the earthquake happened on a weekend, and everyone was called in to answer specific questions regarding resources. Most the equipment was in the air Sunday. It was an unprecedented response, one which went largely unnoticed in the MSM.
