Let me make sure I understand you. Are you saying that our disagreement is about whether asserting that Bush is the worst ever president represents sloppy thinking and shrill polarization? About whether that assertion is exaggeration or truth? Shush, not so loud, but, er, basically imo wrt to Stephen Pizzo's thesis, yes. There have been 43 Presidents of the United States. In my (not expert) opinion, Bush easily falls into the bottom 10 (not good). For Pizzo to argue that he is the worst of the lot is a valid argument. There was nothing sloppy about the arguments he presented.
