Hi David, Brister and all: more on shoes and kids: Nike is also a non-issue with my two boys. My oldest is on his 3rd pair of Adidas soccer shoes and alternates between Reeboks and Nikes as running shoes. For me, it's any shoe that my orthotics will fit into. I generally go back and forth between Reebok and Nike (only the $50.00 variety for me).

David, did your daughter win her soccer game? My boy's team won 2 to 1 - it was a good game.
