For Stalin world domination would be that of communism coming thru revolutions that the soviets would aid and abet. No real disagreement. The Soviet Union's goal was similar in approach, but diametrically opposed in ideology, to that of the US. To spread similar views and values to other countries of the world so that we're feel "safer" amongst like minded governments and societies. The difference is that we're promoting (not always successfully) the idea of democratic and accountable governments, answerable to the people that elect them, not a government of the few with control over the many.. I'll never feel ashamed about the wanting other people to have the chance to experience the same freedoms I enjoy. Hawk
