Kevin, I'm going to make a late night confession on my shoe buying.. I went to Marshalls a month ago. They have a clearance rack. There in front of me were a pair of $ 70 New Balance sneakers marked down, down, down, and down again to $ 12! So I tried them on and they fit perfectly... so I asked the saleman if he had any others in the back. He brought out 5 more pairs all in the same size, marked them the same way with a smile and out the door I went with a comparable load of new socks. In my closet I now have two years of sneakers for $ 60... True confession # 2. With a coup like that, I had to return to the scene of the crime. No tennis shoes this time... instead there were a pair of Bruno Maglia's from Italy, normally at $285 marked down and down again to $ 39... and they fit! Can't wait for ski season :~) JG
