I like the quote also Scott and I agree with Mr. Heerensperger. I fell that Eagle is far superior to HD. The service is better, they have everything I need(for example, my wife just stopped at HD as it is closer to our home to pick up a bag of grass seed and they didn't have it!!)and I can find the products I need. I feel strongly that they are superior and that shopping at HD is an unpleasant, inefficient process. I love the fact that Eagle keeps their forklifts off the floor during shopping hours. I think expansion into California is prudent because California consumers will respond to the "Nordstroms" approach as much or more so than Seattle area consumers have. Nordstrom's South Coast Plaza Store is a huge success!
