seventh_son,

RE: "RNC management destroys the shareholder value of this company with consistent unmet guidance and incompetent management of the operations, and here is what we get as compensation when it finally gets taken over by someone who can realize the potential of assets valued at a fraction of those of its peers? (And this at a time when the price of gold is starting to soar and all the larger companies are hungry for ounces?)"

While I am not familiar with the RNC situation, I think we can all commiserate with the generally abysmal level of managerial "talent" in the junior resource sector. I would estimate that far less than 1% of junior managements are "excellent," with the majority ranging from atrocious to barely competent. It is really a horror show.

I was actively thinking of starting a thread that would be focused on the poor decisions made by junior resource company managements, perhaps titled "Bozos, Morons and Thieves," but I figure I would spend all of my time posting to it.
