Glucosamine sulfate is also very effective, as is novasen, slow release aspirin for ant-inflammation and joint repair. Vitamin C also helps build collagen, so it is necessary for joint health. Vitamin B6 has been found to have an effect on arthritis.

It is true that some fats either promote or retard inflammation (Weil). Cut all normal fats including the polyunsaturates veggie oils, if you cannot stand NSAIDS and stick to olive oil and fish oils. Omega 3's should help. Evening Primrose oil has GLA which is effective as well. Ginger and Turmeric fight inflammation. Ginger helps regulate the ecosanoids such as prostglandin which induce inflammation response.

A person with bad inflammation of joints should eat less animal protein particularly. Increasing whole grains is called for.

I had heard that cherries helps reduce certain kinds of inflammation. The single most important ingredient in cherries is their massive quantity of vitamin C which they have in abundance over other foods by a strong multiple.

Expect 21 days to reduction of symptoms in above treatments.
