It's wasn't an excuse. His regime was a real & verifiable
threat. Saddam's actions prior to his removal established he
was a ongoing threat for the better part of two decades. His
egregious violations of the cease fire agreement established
he continued to be a threat. And the evidence gathered after
his removal irrefutably established he planed on continuing
to be a threat as long as he remained in power.

If you had bothered to read the evidence I have already
provided you, you would already know this all to be true.
