That joke could probably do as a test of parental status - the ones who look blank don't have children:
the ones who laugh loudly are grandparents:
the ones who laugh knowingly are parents with older children:
the ones who groan knowingly are relatively recent parents.

And the ones too tired to respond at all are the ones with small babies right now...
