lol.....I'd rather be banned than ignored<g>.

Banning requires the guts for a public declaration.
Ignoring can be private and insidious.

In fact, the ignore feature has created its own subculture.
There are threats TO place on ignore.

There are claims to have placed a poster on ignore
when the ignoror has not really done so because
s/he just has to see whether the ignoree
is talking about him/her.

I'm sure there are also a few "real" ignores.
