Alberta Diamond Exploration to Commence on Notikewan Property.
Vancouver, BC: Patrick Power, President of Everest Mines & Minerals Ltd. is pleased to announce that preliminary work has commenced, leading to the completion of the airborne magnetic survey of the Company's Notikewan (Peace River) Property located in the Buffalo Hills area of Alberta. This survey will cover the entire 29 township (approximately 667,000 acre) mineral claim area. The survey is intended to locate anomalous magnetic zones that host kimberlite formations.
The Wabaska Property (south east of the Notikewan Property covering an area of 13 townships approximately 299,000 acres ) is the next claim area to be surveyed in the planned sequence. All eight Everest Properties in the Buffalo Head Craton, comprising approximately one million four hundred thousand acres are scheduled to be surveyed subsequently.
Preliminary data returned to date on the completed survey of the Burnt River and Horseshoe Properties (Joint Venture with New Claymore Resources & Blackrun Ventures Inc.) are currently being processed.
