There is so much that can be studied here. I haven't kept a diary, but I am sure that in the days after I work a set of graveyard shifts, I become unusually fatigued, hostile and depressed--the wife will agree. What comes first, the inflammatory hormones or the hostility, ha! Shift worker phenotype I guess--we absolutely should be lab rats.
