The Northeast Intelligence Network has been actively investigating this incident (scroll down this page for summary information and links), developing information that the incident appears to be consistent with the firing of a surface-to-air missile despite official reports to the contrary. Also, be certain to review the data collected from some of the posters on Free Republic regarding this report. Meanwhile, investigators from this agency will continue our investigation and provide new information as it is developed.
