I was at CompUSA today. AMD desktop selection is not as good as Best Buy. About 2:1 Intel. On the notebook side though, there seems to be a new sign of life. There were 6 Turion PCs, including the LiveStrong, NASCAR labeled one, and most importantly, the 17" HP in the 8000 class. The CPU was MT-40, IIRC. BTW, there is a lot of stuff there for DIY crowd. All kinds of cases (including premium ones), heat sinks, coolers, cables etc. One thing that continues to suck is Sony, and their Intel only line. Gateway has at least some token representation in the "Gateway" brand, and pretty good representation in E-machine brand. I wonder how Microsoft is doing with supply of X-Box 360. Microsoft can potentially ruin Sony's Christmas... Joe
