I've refuted that many times in the past. The litmus test being...eliiminate the tax breaks for real estate and see what happens. Since they have little to do with home price appreciation, nothing will happen and NAR won't say anything. <G>

In reality. Real Estate investors are so spoiled by the government welfare tax breaks they'd scream bloody murder and probably not sell as readily.
