Diebold clearly was a factor in 2004...Rove and his dirty tricksters couldn't have won without cheating. Yet, Kerry's team could have run a much more aggressive campaign -- Mr. Bush was not really branded effectively as a reckless president who LIED to take us into an unnecessary war.
