I really like some of Sony's new notebook versions - very lightweight, petite (easy size to carry anywhere), and a crisp display.

Sony is currently, probably the best notebook manufacturer on the market for women.

They now have biometric too for the BX, but what is the weight of the BX series:

Security.

Integrated Biometric Fingerprint Sensor (System).
Fingerprint biometrics is a simple and secure way to protect critical computer information and enable secure online services and other Internet applications. The integrated biometric fingerprint sensor in the VAIO®BX Series Notebook ensures controlled access to your computer - the most convenient means of protecting your critical data.

Trusted Platform Module (TPM) TCG ver. 1.1b.
Sony knows how important security is to your business. The VAIO®BX Series Notebook features an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) TCG Ver.1.1b Compliant chip, allowing you to control access on a specific client/user basis. The TPM is a hardware-based solution that secures your data's confidentiality when it is most vulnerable.

Hard Disk Password Protection.
This feature protects your VAIO BX Series notebook's data against unauthorized access by requiring an authentication. Even if the drive is removed and inserted into a different computer, the data cannot be accessed without a password.
