Yes, we sort of resent the fact that Katrina hit here as did Wilma and little or no National attention. S. Fla. landscape has been totally changed and will stay that way the rest of my life. Many large trees down making the streets look SO WIDE, gives a whole new look to the area. Still have large piles of vegetative trash piled up along the roads and streets as well as limbs hanging down. Many BLUE ROOFS all over the place. They say it will take well over a year before tile roofs can be replaced as now there is a shortage of tile. Very low unemployment though as so many jobs available in every aspect of construction and cleanup. To my knowledge we get little or no help from the Govt. jdn
