Is it true liberals get offended if they receive Christmas cards?

Thanks for taking the bait.

As some 96% of Americans celebrate Christmas I would doubt that there would be a substantial number of them that would be offended. My own direct knowledge is rather limited as I send out a very, very, small percentage of Christmas, Holiday and Channukah cards to the American people. You might want to check with either Laura Bush or the RNC as the White House sends out 1.4 million holiday cards for the season. You might want to ask them why the First Family [Evangelicals] send out Holiday cards instead of Christmas cards.

While you're waiting for their response, I'd like to suggest a Christmas project for you. The cost would be minimal, but it could take a bit of your time.

Two collages and a short essay...

Collage #1: Clip out a bunch of Christmas/holiday advertisements. Take advertisements from Lexus, Bailey, Banks and Biddle, Target, Wal-Mart, Victoria's Secret, etc.... [Go out of your way, if need be, to include the Victoria's Secret ad.]. Paste them all on a very large posterboard and then paste in the manger scene in the center.

Collage #2: Clip out of bunch of photos in the aftermath of Katrina, the Indonesian tsunami, the earthquake in Pakistan, the genocide of Darfur, the slums of New York, D.C., and various other poverty striken areas of the world. Paste them all on a very large posterboard and then paste in the manger scene in the center.

Short Essay: Write a short essay on the meaning of Christmas.

Merry Christmas,
jttmab

Extra Credit: Put both collages and the essay as ornaments around the Christmas tree.
