Dean should be careful, his job is to help all democrats, not just the ones who are in liberal districts and are openly anti-war. But remember, John Murtha is maybe the most hawkish conservative democrat around, and he's the one who said "it's over, let's bring the guys home". Murtha is also the #1 military expert in congress and speaks for many generals. So don't worry. True though, Bushies are dishonestly using these rational plans to accuse democrats of being traitors, cowards and the usual bunch of BS. But I don't think it will work anymore. Most Americans are fed up with this war and don't believe much of what Bushies say anymore. If you have to debate a Bushie, ask him "Why aren't the Iraqi troops ready to take over after 2.5 years? Which is more time than many Americans troops have been trained for? And didn't we know we had to train the Iraqi troops 2 years ago? So why hasn't it been done?" When you answer that question, Bushies lose all credibility.
