Thanks for the response (don't you ever sleep). So the way I understand it, it would not be possible for a client to choose to use dbExpress without cooperation on the server side of things since the client program has to communicate with the server program. I still see an application in other industries because of the large amounts of unnecessary data that is transferred to cull what the client is actually wanting. The actual market would be on the server side of things, such as in the telecom industry we are now focused on.
