Funny you should mention Wordpad...

A client of mine is in the middle of installing a network to replace a Unix dumb-terminal setup, using a quad 200MHz Pentium Pro box from Sequent (OEMed by NCR) running Citrix. They have also opened a branch office and put it at the end of a T1 line. The network in the branch office has been up for a week or so while the main office gets transitioned from terminals to PCs with the Citrix client. They should also have WordPerfect installed for everyone at that time.

Meanwhile, the people in the branch office have been putting together their documents (it's a law firm) using Wordpad and are happy as can be with their little network. We had the PCs delivered without MS Office (although we had to pay for it anyway - is the FTC lurking??) so that we could enforce WordPerfect as a standard. I guess that even some business users can get by with a "word processor" with minimal features.

How many CDs are required for the Wordpad install <g>?
