My experiences with Faultline were always good. I never saw him ban anyone who did not deserve it (though all the people banned believed his ban to be a terrible error in judgment :-)

I do hope he is ok. I like to think he went house hunting and found a place so delightful, it was better than SI.

I don't think he would ban people just because of complaints- you had to be doing something uncivil, or off topic.
