JUDITH MILLER: the movie
I can see it coming.....(working title: BETRAYAL BETWEEN THE SHEETS)
First scene, the youthful Judy, fresh as a daisy, on the hills overlooking LA. Holds up a dandelion gone to seed and blows on it, and it breaks apart and each small piece floats away into the sky. She wonders: where will it land?
Cut to the dandelion seed arriving on a hill in Israel. A short distance away the Kibbutz members are fighting off the Muslim hordes.
Cut back to Judy in LA hills--she vows to help humanity---NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES.
Then various exploits of the grown up Judy, in many cases having to use her womanly wiles to get the story, but usually just flashing a little bit of arm, a tiny bit of thigh--NOTHING TOO SERIOUS. But she gets the story and by getting THE TRUTH OUT, helps humanity in endless ways.
Parallel story of SCOOTER LIBBY. He wants to serve humanity too. Great, fast rising career. Meets Judith. FIRE DOWN BELOW, FIRE UP ABOVE, LORD HAVE MERCY, THE FIRE WILL CONSUME US ALL!
He has fallen under the sway of the BIG DICK. BIG DICK says get these WMD stories out--NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES-- THE FUTURE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IS AT STAKE.
Scooter doubts it, but feeds it to Judy. She takes it, hook, line and sinker (the stories).
SADNESS, SADNESS, SADNESS. The stories are false! She goes to prison to protect Scooter in the hopes of more glorious days under the Colorado Aspens with the ONE AND ONLY MAN SHE HAS EVER ALLOWED TO LOVE HER PHYSICALLY.
