It will have been the first steel building to collapse due to fire alone then. Can you explain how the building collapsed symmetrically in free fall time? For that to happen, every column in the entire building would have had to reach critical buckling loads simultaneously. The odds of that happening due to fire alone are astronomical.

I'm just examining what I see on the videos of the collapse.

Assuming progressive collapse, then we would see one floor collapse on another. We would then see evidence of conservation of momentum...the building below resisting collapse structurally and by virtue of it's mass being at rest. But we don't. It's like a pool game where if the cue strikes the object ball, the zero momentum of the object ball is transferred the cue ball, or conversely the motion of the cue is transferred to the object ball. In this case the cue ball stops and the object ball proceeds. Now this of course assumes that no "english" is placed on the cue ball, which would make it follow along right after the object ball.

In the case of the collapsing building the top chases the rest of the building straight down. It remains level, indicating simultaneous failure of all vertical support...and then the vertical support below the point of failure as well...That's where we need to explain the "english" that must have been put on the building...in other words, it appears that controlled demolition was in play.

I'm not going to address all your straw man arguments. The answers to them are meaningless at this point. All that blather about Bush's intelligence, and why would they do things the way they did, if they did them, are not germain to the discussion about the nature of the collapse.
