Michael; Many people I know prefer word perfect to MS word. It is hoped that Corel will survive and prosper. The small wordpad is quite capable of most legal documents, unless they are 100 pagers(what is the max file size for wordpad?). Often I use it for short notes etc, as it comes up faster than word, and for a 2 line note I should wait?. It will be interesting to see how the PC ecolgy arranges itself after it starts to run out of new food(buyers) in the new year. The saturation level is near as large price drops are needed just to keep the flow going, but the absolute dollars involved has begun to contract, and this means huge margin shrinkage at all levels. If you lose a little on every sale, can you ever make it up on volume? Bill
