The shame is the macro scene for VoIP is happening, see the following:

redherring.com

knobias.com

I hear the cable co in NY is signing up customers at a 10K/wk clip and the backlog is growing. From a top-down perspective this "story" is playing out perfectly. What remains to be seen is if Sonus really is the primary arms dealer or not.

From a "feels like" view, this "feels like" owning QCOM in the mid-to-late 90's, the macro events were unfolding, the company was getting blistered by competitors, analysts, and the press, stock did nothing. As was the case then, what counts are the carriers(incumbent and emerging), the partners, and keeping their nose to the grindstone with the technology. Even the soft spoken PHD engineer CEO is the same.

And so the story goes to date, hope it ends the same.
