Don't jump to the conclusion so quickly. It's my position that standard of life in Iraq (for the average citizen) is much much worse today then pre 1990. Not only that, but since the invasion by the USA that standard of life has deteriorated further by a considerable amount.

Until these facts are recognised by our politicians, the deep state of denial they are in will prevent a suitable peace from being found in Iraq. Trying to convince people "up" is "down", "left" is "right", just will not work. Same with loads of issues on Iraq.

If you don't put the fate of the people in Iraq first, there will no peace.
