McCain/Lieberman as the '08 Republican ticket. But, what about Guiliani? Do you rule him out? Or figure that he won't make it through the primary? How about Rice? Any chance at all that she might throw her hat in the ring? I would guess not.

Yes, it has to be someone who is strong on the terror and the war issues.

I think the Republicans are short on electable talent but far better off than the Democrats.

I agree with you on the Democrats. They are in deep kimshee and don't seem to realize it. Dean is on the way to destroying what is left of the party. FDR and JFK would not be too happy right now.

BTW, it is interesting to me that McCain has, more than once, been identified with someone from the Democratic side. Not long ago, he was a VP choice for kerry.
