2006 voters plan to vote democratic by 11% more than Republican. pollingreport.com That is more than enough to swing 25-50 seats democrats way.

Plus the Delay-Abramoff trials are just beginning and the FBI continues investigating Duke Cunningham and all his crooked cronies which could snag all the Duncan Hunter types. Plus, you can check Jean Schmidt off as well.

The disapproval poll on democrats may look strange because DEms are the minority and can get very little done, but what it really means is that half the democratic voters want democrats in congress to fight harder against Bushies and to do more to stop the rightwing agenda. This may stem from too many Dems trusting Bush-Cheney's word on the war. All those voters will be voting against Republicans next year.

Historically, whenever congress in general is this unpopular, the majority party is swept out and replaced. Also expect many rightwing congressmen to be replaced by more honest moderates. Also expect a turnover in the senate. DEms should be able to at least tie in the senate. Frist's insider trading case could cement that.

Even worse for Bushies is that if Bush continues hovering under 40% approvals, he is very vulnerable to be impeached. Cheney as well. There are plenty of good reasons to impeach them.
