You are again correct. J Forbes Kerry found a loophole in the rules and abused the system to get himself out of Vietnam. The people that served with him were glad to see him retreat knowing that his replacement could never be less heroic than Kerry. Little did they know at the time that he would become a central figure in the slander of American servicemen in the Vietnam war and now again this week in the War on Terror. He was rejected by the American people and he only received the votes of those who are unwilling to make an effort to understand current events.
