It seems like that Brinker's star has plummeted among the former faithful followers on Silicon Investor. At one time there was a large number of people on these threads who played along as Bob posted as Don Lane and truly hung on his every word.

It seems like most have moved on. I'd be curious to see what caused those former believers to give up. It would also be interesting to hear who among the former believers are still subscribing to his newsletter.

For those that are still subscribing and believe in Brinker's timing I'd be interested in knowing if you think Brinker when he makes his next call will go to 100% cash as he did in 88 and claimed to be bearish or

do you think he will hedge and make another "tactical allocation, I am not bearish " call like early 2000?

Do you think Brinker will make any more individual stock recomendations--the last of course was Utek in which he had the apparent undisclosed conflict of interest and that was closed out in 2001

Do you think Brinker will make any more trading calls like that QQQQ idea in 2000 when he urged investors to use up to 1/3 of a portfolio to buy QQQs when they were in the 80s and rode them all the way down?

TIA
