Betcha $1 that both would have been on other side of the issue.

I was soooo hoping the 2004 election would be the mirror of 2000 just so I could watch both Reps & Dems sing the other tune. :(

If both had been shafted by the EC, there would be a much better chance of getting rid of it. The way things stand now, there is a reasonable bias for Reps to keep it, Dems to want to see it go. So I don't expect anything to happen.
