I guess you are going to ignore this portion of Friedmans comments:

"I give Bush very good marks on the tax cuts and for appointing a tax reform commission that came up with very good proposals," Mr. Friedman said

I would also point out that this has been a pivitol moment in US govt history with creation of the largest Federal group (Home Land Security) in history and funding thereof, massive natural disasters, war on terror, recovery from 9/11 etc.
I am looking to see what is done in the next 3 years, if Republicans dont return to their roots then I too will be disappointed. jdn
