"Woz wrote in Basic and was ok to Apple II, His real interest was the electronics"

Ok, let me ask a simple question, have you ever programmed for an Apple ][? I have. I also designed some peripherals for use in the lab I worked in. Because the ][ had a monitor in ROM, I have also dumped the code for the video and I can categorically state that it wasn't written in BASIC. The BASIC, which was a Microsoft product, was licensed well after the hardware was finished. Oh yeah, the ][ was essentially a cleaned up I with the aforementioned BASIC. And a plastic case and power supply. Not many I's were sold.

I do grant you it is unlikely that AS knows someone who knows Woz.

Let me ask you another question, have you ever worked with WinCE? I have. I have also ported WinCE to a new machine and have written drivers and some support utilities for handheld barcode scanners. Needless to say, I am also familiar with Platform Builder, although it has been a couple of years.
