i would allow a former president to run again after someone else replaces him for a term. I'm against that one. I dislike the growing American ruling class. Hence I don't like Kennedys, Bushes, Doles, etc. I don't want Paris Hilton either. I'd make the one-term restriction apply to all non-arms length persons: spouses, kids, etc. I don't want to breed a governing class, let them recycle themselves in the fabric of the country for a generation or two, and if the subsequent generations produce something noteworthy, they can enter politics again. We've made politics a celebrity sport in the USA. I hate that.
