That hurts....ouch !! I am not an expert, but in the latest game analysis the thing that hints the most of coaching errors is that they pack the O line in very tight formation to Max protect against the pass rush. The FSU linebackers then blitz the gaps. If there are not gaps they lay back, if there are gaps they rush them, their option. The point is that the holes are so small that our backs cannot hit them with regularity. If we would spread them out just like we do against anyone else I think we have a mobile QB who can have more room to scramble. UVA beat them by rolling Hagans out wide on option plays all night. He threw most of the time but at least they had to respect the run and the option to the tailback.

Another time we were outcoached. All FSU had to do is watch the Miami game and go with an identical game plan. We would have 8 guys stay for pass protection blocking ...FSU would rush 4 and get the sack. Same thing happened in the 1999-2000 national championship game, with another Vick quarterbacking.
