You know, I thought that would be the case, but it hasn't been lately. If I play tight, people still call and raise me when I bet out. I must have a stupid table image. <G> I am reading the book "Kill Phil," about how the old school of poker no longer works for tournaments. They are right that people playing their style have been winning the World Series titles. But a lot of people who play their style are also going out on the first hand dealt. <G> I still think you have to shift from old school value betting to new school insanity, which would involve getting your hand caught in the cookie jar every now and then.

Of all the tricks I know, the semi-bluff with an overbet seems to work most often for me. Of course, position is important for that one. You have to be either first or last to speak. Last is better, as long as nobody else bets into you.
