Liquidity works when folks take on debt.

The statistics speak for themselves, the FED is getting its job done. People are still spending, speculating and everything else under the sun.

We are seeing massive speculative bubbles due to this factor.

When it ends and what makes people start paying down debt, they will not. It feeds on itself. People in general do not like to go without, they think that someone will take care of them and their problems.

This cycle will not end pretty and have no regret for those that borrowed up to their eyeballs and live beyond their means.

I see it in about 90% of the people around me and whom I know.

Save - live below my means, go without, not buy that new car, MP3 player, Xbox, swimming pool, new kitchen.....so much crap we really do not need and save some money! - you kidding me.
